The WISS Academy recently hosted an exhilarating Demo Day, bringing together partner vendors and showcasing a diverse array of offerings. From academics to sports, arts, and technology, the event was a resounding success.
Led by esteemed partners MAD Science and Future Keys, the Academic Programmes at the WISS Academy introduced students to innovative learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). Students explored, experimented, and cultivated critical thinking skills.

Hailing from South Africa, Udo Roos has been an integral part of the WISS community for over a decade, starting his educational voyage from kindergarten all the way to grade 9. Inspired by his elder brothers, who have successfully graduated from WISS, Udo aspires to follow in their footsteps and carve his own path toward excellence.

Gary's path to education began with a love for sports, which ignited his initial interest in teaching physical education. Throughout his 10-year teaching career, spanning Scotland, Saudi Arabia, China, and now at WISS for five years, Gary has evolved into a dynamic IB teacher who values academic excellence and the development of essential character traits in his students.

As part of our ongoing "Greatness Starts With Attitude" campaign, we are privileged to share the inspiring story of Casey Li, a sophomore who embodies the spirit of resilience, passion, and continuous growth at the Western International School of Shanghai.
Casey's journey at WISS began two years ago, and since then, she has captivated audiences both within and outside the school through her profound love for musical theater. Starting her musical journey at the age of eight, Casey's dedication and talent have propelled her to the prestigious stage of the Shanghai Grand Theater, where she showcases her artistry with grace and finesse.
