As an initiative to involve parents in this transformative journey, WISS recently hosted a parent engagement workshop titled "THE AI REVOLUTION - Transforming Our Daily Lives and Inspiring Child Engagement".

As technology rapidly evolves, it is crucial for educational institutions to stay at the forefront of innovation. WISS recognizes the importance of preparing students for the digital age, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively navigate a future heavily influenced by AI. The parent engagement workshop, "THE AI REVOLUTION", took place on Wednesday, 13 September 2023. This interactive workshop provided parents with a comprehensive understanding of AI and its impact on our daily lives. Expert speaker Mr. Timothy Pyeon, Director of Academics and Innovation at Western International School of Shanghai shared insights on how AI is reshaping various industries and discussed the potential opportunities and challenges it presents. Parents were introduced to the initiatives and programs WISS has implemented to ensure their children are well-prepared and engaged in the AI revolution.

"We believe that involving parents in this process is crucial to our students' success," said Mr. David Edwards, Head of School of Western International School of Shanghai. "Through the workshop, we aim to foster a collaborative partnership between the school and parents, enabling us to work together in preparing our students for the future."
