WISS Launches Toddler and Parent Playgroup

The Western International School of Shanghai (WISS) is thrilled to announce the launch of its exclusive toddler and parent group, Kickstart. Designed for children aged 18 months to 3 years old, Kickstart aims to provide a stimulating and nurturing environment where toddlers can develop foundational skills while bonding with their parents. Kickstart offers a unique opportunity for parents and their toddlers to engage in a range of age-appropriate activities that foster cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development. Led by experienced early childhood educators, the programme focuses on enhancing key developmental areas through play-based learning and parent-child interactions.

Kickstart is designed to do just that."

The Kickstart programme will be held at the state-of-the-art WISS campus and will feature a variety of engaging activities tailored to stimulate the physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional development of toddlers. The sessions will include sensory play, music and movement, language development, art exploration, and interactive storytelling to promote imagination and language skills.

Kickstart also provides a platform for parents to connect with other families, fostering a supportive community environment where they can share experiences, exchange parenting tips, and build lasting friendships.

Registration for Kickstart sessions are now open, and limited spaces are available. Interested parents are encouraged to visit the WISS website or contact the admissions office for more information and to secure a spot in this exciting new programme.

拥抱多样性：全球创新学习联盟会议在新西兰奥克兰举行

全球创新学习联盟（GAIL）是一个著名的学校网络，致力于促进教育领域的创新、合作和文化交流。上海西华外籍人员子女学校（WISS）很荣幸成为全球创新学习联盟（GAIL）的成员，并兴奋地宣布将参加即将在新西兰奥克兰举行的全球创新学习联盟会议。此次会议为上海西方国际学校的学生提供了一次难得的机会，他们将在校长 David Edwards 先生、学术与创新部主任 Timothy Pyeon 先生和设计教师 Nwanneka Okwuosa 女士的陪同下，与其他 GAIL 成员学校共同促进多元化发展。
