The Western International School of Shanghai (WISS) is delighted to announce the results of our 2022 International Baccalaureate Diploma students. Our graduates continue to make us proud as they maintain a 100% Pass Rate for the IB Diploma Programme and the IB Career-related Programme.

Graduates from the class of 2022 have achieved an average score of 34, well above the world average, with an impressive mark of 44/45 amongst this year’s graduates.

Their outstanding accomplishments this year can be attributed to their dedication to academic excellence. These students can reflect on their high school experience with a sense of achievement and accomplishment. At the Western International School of Shanghai, the International Baccalaureate is in our DNA. WISS is the only school in China that offers all four IB programmes.  The WISS education prepares students intellectually and socially to become lifelong learners and global citizens. Although the number of IB graduates continues to grow every day, the maximum score is achieved by less than 0.5% of students worldwide. WISS is proud to contribute to this global achievement that reflects our vision of providing excellence in international education.

Obtaining 45 points in the IB Diploma is an achievement that requires much more than purely academic excellence. Other qualities and skills contribute to the academic success of students.
